AMD EPYC 7B13 Processor (Pulled)

The AMD EPYC 7B13 is an OEM-only Milan processor built for Google Cloud, where it powers Milan-based machine families such as C2D and T2D; it is not listed in AMD's public product catalogue. Like the EPYC 7763 it has 64 Zen 3 cores and 128 threads with 256 MB of L3 cache, but at a 2.25 GHz base clock, boost up to 3.5 GHz and a 240 W TDP, so it delivers performance close to the 7763 within a lower power envelope. It fits the SP3 socket and supports eight channels of DDR4-3200 and 128 lanes of PCIe 4.0. As Google refreshes its Milan fleet, large volumes of 7B13s have reached the secondary market.

The processor needs a board whose BIOS recognises it. Supermicro H12 boards and SP3 boards from Gigabyte and ASRock Rack running current AGESA firmware are the usual choice on the secondary market; Dell, HPE and Lenovo servers do not list the 7B13 and should be tested before a volume purchase. Because the units come from whitebox hyperscale servers they are normally not vendor-locked by Platform Secure Boot, and we confirm the status per lot. Buyers are hosting providers building 128-core nodes at low cost, integrators, laboratories and resellers in the CIS, Africa and South Asia. Processors are tested in a reference SP3 platform, can be filtered by stepping, are sold per lot, and carry a partner limited warranty of typically 90 days to 12 months stated in the quotation.
