AMD EPYC 7763 Processor (Pulled)

The AMD EPYC 7763 is the 64-core, 128-thread flagship of the third-generation EPYC 7003 family, codenamed Milan and built on Zen 3 cores. It runs at a 2.45 GHz base clock with boost up to 3.5 GHz, carries 256 MB of L3 cache across eight core complex dies and has a 280 W TDP. The SP3 socket provides eight channels of DDR4-3200 up to 4 TB per socket and 128 lanes of PCIe 4.0, and the 7763 can be used in single- or dual-socket systems, giving 128 cores in a 2U server. Pulled units come from Dell PowerEdge R7525 and R6525, HPE ProLiant DL385 Gen10 Plus v2, Lenovo ThinkSystem SR645 and SR665, Supermicro H12 and Gigabyte R282 systems, and from hyperscale HPC fleets.

Hosting providers buy the 7763 for core density per watt, HPC groups for its cache and memory bandwidth, and integrators, universities and resellers in the CIS, Africa and South Asia take smaller lots for budget 128-core builds. One caveat is specific to EPYC: processors first booted in a Dell, HPE or Lenovo server may have been fused to that vendor by AMD Platform Secure Boot and will then only run on the same vendor's boards. We state the lock status of every lot. Processors are tested in a reference SP3 platform, can be filtered by stepping, are sold per lot, and carry a partner limited warranty of typically 90 days to 12 months stated in the quotation.

InTechnologies' licensed partners issue the contract, invoice and partner warranty on second-hand processors. InTechnologies coordinates sourcing from decommissioning programmes and verified brokers, consolidates the lot in Dubai Airport Freezone and ships DDP or DDU.
