The HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen10 is HPE's mainstream 2U two-socket rack server for first- and second-generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors, including Xeon Gold 5218, 6130 and 6248 and Silver 4210 and 4214. It offers 24 DDR4 DIMM slots for up to 3 TB of HPE SmartMemory and supports Intel Optane persistent memory with second-generation CPUs. Chassis options cover 8, 16 or 24 small form factor bays, expandable to 30 SFF with a rear cage, as well as 8 or 12 large form factor bays, expandable to 19 LFF plus 2 SFF. Traded units typically carry a Smart Array P408i-a SR Gen10 controller with 2 GB cache (the S100i software RAID is embedded on every board), a FlexibleLOM adapter with four 1 GbE or two 10 GbE ports, iLO 5 and two Flex Slot hot-plug power supplies of 500 W, 800 W or 1600 W. The exact configuration is built to order from tested parts.

Refurbished DL380 Gen10 servers are purchased by hosting and colocation providers, system integrators building budget virtualisation or backup nodes, universities, rendering studios and resellers in the CIS, Africa and South Asia. Before shipment the server completes burn-in, a full memory pass and HPE diagnostics; System ROM, iLO 5 and Smart Array firmware are updated through an HPE Service Pack, fans and power supplies are tested or replaced, and thermal paste is renewed when processors are reseated. Cosmetic grade is stated in the quotation, and the partner limited warranty usually covers 90 days to 12 months.

Supply of refurbished HPE servers runs through InTechnologies' licensed partners, which issue the contract, the invoice and the partner warranty. InTechnologies handles sourcing from decommissioning programmes and verified brokers, consolidation in Dubai Airport Freezone and DDP or DDU delivery to the destination.
