Micron 64 GB DDR4-2933 ECC LRDIMM 4Rx4 (Pulled)

This Micron module is a 64 GB DDR4-2933 load-reduced ECC DIMM (PC4-23400, CL21) in a quad-rank x4 organisation at 1.2 V in the 288-pin form factor, part-number family MTA72ASS8G72LZ-2G9 (suffixes J1, J2 and J2R). The same module was sold by Supermicro as MEM-DR464LE-LR29 and under Dell and HPE part numbers. An LRDIMM places a data buffer in front of the DRAM, so the memory controller sees a single electrical load regardless of rank count; that is what lets a Cascade Lake server run two 64 GB modules per channel at the full 2933 MT/s and reach 1.5 TB in 24 slots. DDR4-2933 is the native speed of second-generation Xeon Scalable processors, and the module also runs at 2666 MT/s in Skylake-based servers.

Pulled LRDIMMs come from in-memory database, SAP HANA and large virtualisation hosts that are being replaced by Ice Lake, Sapphire Rapids or EPYC systems. Buyers are hosting providers running memory-heavy nodes, integrators rebuilding four-socket Gen10 and 14G servers, universities and laboratories, and resellers in the CIS, Africa and South Asia. Two rules apply: LRDIMMs and RDIMMs cannot be mixed in the same system, and the board must list LRDIMM support, which most dual-socket Xeon Scalable boards do. Every module is given a full-pass memory test and an SPD read, lots are sorted by part number and speed grade, modules are sold per lot, and the partner limited warranty of typically 90 days to 12 months is stated in the quotation.

Used memory is sold under the contract, invoice and partner warranty of InTechnologies' licensed partners. InTechnologies coordinates sourcing from decommissioning programmes and verified brokers, consolidates lots in Dubai Airport Freezone and arranges DDP or DDU delivery.
