The Lenovo ThinkSystem SR650 (machine types 7X05 and 7X06) is a first-generation 2U two-socket server for Intel Xeon Scalable processors of the first and second generation, from Xeon Silver 4110 and 4214 to Gold 6130 and 6248. It has 24 TruDDR4 DIMM slots for up to 3 TB of memory and supports Intel Optane DC persistent memory with second-generation CPUs. Front storage is 8, 16 or 24 2.5-inch bays or 8 or 12 3.5-inch bays, with optional rear drive cages and NVMe support through AnyBay backplanes. Typical traded configurations use a ThinkSystem RAID 930-8i controller with 2 GB flash cache (530-8i, 730-8i and 930-16i also appear), a LOM adapter with 1 GbE or 10 GbE ports, XClarity Controller management and two hot-swap 750 W or 1100 W Platinum power supplies. The exact configuration is built to order from tested parts.

Which firmware is installed on refurbished units?

The partner applies a current Lenovo XClarity firmware bundle covering UEFI, XCC and the RAID controller. If you need a specific bundle for compatibility, state it with the order.

How is the cosmetic grade defined?

Grade A shows no visible marks on the front bezel and chassis; grade B may have light scratches or rack-rail wear that do not affect function. The grade is specified in the quotation.
