The M4 iPad Pro introduced the tandem OLED Ultra Retina XDR display and the thin aluminium body that the M5 model still uses: 11″ at 2420 × 1668 and 13″ at 2752 × 2064, refreshing from 10 to 120 Hz, with Wi-Fi weights of 444 g and 579 g. The M4 chip has a 10-core GPU in every model; the CPU is 9-core in the 256 GB and 512 GB versions, with 8 GB of memory, and 10-core in the 1 TB and 2 TB versions, with 16 GB. Wireless is Wi-Fi 6E, plus 5G in Cellular models.
Since the M5 model arrived, the M4 iPad Pro trades as a previous-generation line, and resellers and corporate buyers still request it where its configurations suit them. Because CPU and memory depend on storage, the quote should name size, storage, colour (Space Black or Silver) and Wi-Fi or Cellular. Apple Pencil Pro and the Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro (M5) both work with it.
