Micron 7450 PRO 3.84TB U.3 NVMe Data Centre SSD

The Micron 7450 PRO is a PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe data-centre SSD on Micron 176-layer TLC NAND. The 3.84 TB U.3 version (MTFDKCC3T8TFR-1BC1ZABYY in 15 mm, MTFDKCB3T8TFR-1BC1ZABYY in 7 mm) is rated at 6,800 MB/s sequential read, 5,300 MB/s sequential write, 1,000K random read IOPS and 180K random write IOPS, with 1 DWPD endurance (7,300 TBW) over a five-year warranty. The drive supports NVMe 1.4, TCG Opal 2.0 encryption, power-loss protection and Micron's secure-boot firmware.

Micron positions the 7450 PRO as the mainstream read-intensive drive for cloud, enterprise and OEM servers, and it is on the qualified lists of Dell, HPE, Lenovo and Supermicro platforms. Hosting providers choose it as a second source alongside the Samsung PM9A3 because capacity points, endurance class and form factors line up. The U.3 connector is tri-mode: it works in U.3 backplanes with SAS, SATA or NVMe and in standard U.2 NVMe bays. Micron also ships the 7450 PRO in M.2 2280, M.2 22110 and E1.S for boot and dense-chassis use. Check whether your server bays need the 7 mm or 15 mm Z-height before ordering, as the two are not interchangeable in some carriers.
