Juniper Networks SRX345 Services Gateway

The Juniper Networks SRX345 is a 1U services gateway for mid-size branch offices, combining a stateful firewall rated at 5 Gbps with IPsec VPN at 977 Mbps and intrusion prevention at 600 Mbps. It carries eight 1 GbE RJ45 ports and eight 1 GbE SFP ports, all MACsec-capable, four Mini-PIM slots for LTE, serial or T1/E1 modules, 4 GB of DRAM and 8 GB of flash, and is offered with one or two AC supplies or a DC supply. Junos OS provides next-generation firewall functions, application security, unified threat management, SD-WAN through Mist WAN Assurance and full routing.

The SRX345 is chosen by distributed enterprises, banks and public-sector bodies that already run Juniper in the core and want consistent policy and management at branch level, and by service providers offering managed firewall services. It supports 375,000 concurrent sessions and 15,000 new sessions per second, which is sufficient for a branch of several hundred users with cloud-heavy traffic.
