The Intel Xeon 6980P is the top P-core processor of the Xeon 6 family, code-named Granite Rapids, with 128 Performance-cores and 256 threads on the Intel 3 process. It runs at a 2.0 GHz base and up to 3.9 GHz turbo, carries 504 MB of L3 cache and supports twelve DDR5 channels at 6400 MT/s, or 8800 MT/s with MRDIMM modules, for up to 3 TB per socket. Each socket provides 96 PCIe 5.0 lanes, AMX and AVX-512 instructions, and four instances each of the QAT, DLB, DSA and IAA accelerators. The 500 W TDP and FCLGA7529 socket mean it is deployed in purpose-built dual-socket platforms with high-airflow or liquid cooling.

Xeon 6980P processors are bought by server OEM partners and system integrators configuring 2S nodes for AI inference, in-memory databases and HPC, by cloud and hosting providers building high-density virtualisation hosts, and by enterprises refreshing SAP HANA or Oracle estates. Granite Rapids-AP CPUs are supplied as trays only; there is no boxed retail version. Buyers should confirm that their platform's BIOS supports the specific stepping and that memory is ordered as RDIMM or MRDIMM to match the intended speed.

InTechnologies FZCO sources Xeon 6980P trays from authorised Intel distribution and consolidates them in Dubai Airport Freezone for DDP or DDU delivery, while the contract and invoice are issued by one of its licensed partners.
