Intel Xeon 6780E Processor (144 E-cores, 108 MB cache)

The Intel Xeon 6780E is the 144-core member of the Xeon 6 E-core series, code-named Sierra Forest, and the first Intel server CPU built entirely from Efficient-cores without Hyper-Threading, giving 144 cores and 144 threads. It runs at 2.2 GHz base and 3.0 GHz turbo with 108 MB of L3 cache, within a 330 W TDP, and offers eight DDR5-6400 channels for up to 4 TB of memory plus 88 PCIe 5.0 lanes. Intel's Speed Select profiles include a Networking Mode that lifts the base clock to 2.3 GHz at 320 W. The processor uses the FCLGA4710 socket and supports two-socket systems.

This CPU is purchased by cloud and hosting providers that bill per vCPU, by telecom and CDN operators running containerised network functions, and by integrators building web, caching and microservice tiers where core density per rack matters more than single-thread speed. Because the E-cores omit AVX-512 and AMX, buyers should check that their software stack does not depend on those instruction sets. Like other Xeon 6 parts it is sold as a tray processor for OEM and integrator use, and it shares the LGA4710 platform with the lower-power 6766E and 6740E.

Orders are contracted and invoiced by InTechnologies' licensed partners, with InTechnologies sourcing the trays from authorised Intel distribution, consolidating in Dubai Airport Freezone and delivering DDP or DDU. The processor can be shipped together with matching DDR5 RDIMMs and NVMe drives in a single consignment.
