The Ryzen 7 9850X3D, released in 2026, is an 8-core, 16-thread Zen 5 processor with 96 MB of L3 cache including AMD 3D V-Cache, and 8 MB of L2. Base clock is 4.7 GHz and boost reaches up to 5.6 GHz, 400 MHz higher than the Ryzen 7 9800X3D. Default TDP is 120 W, and it fits the AM5 socket on A620, B650, X670E, B850 and X870E boards.

Integrators building gaming PCs order it in tray packaging, retailers in the box. The boxed version comes without a cooler, so buyers should budget for one. Matching AM5 boards and DDR5 memory can be quoted on the same order.

Processors are new and sealed, consolidated in Dubai Airport Freezone and shipped with serial numbers recorded per unit.

Does the boxed 9850X3D include a cooler?

No. The box contains the processor only, so a separate cooler is needed.

Will it work in my B650 board?

It fits AM5 boards, but older boards may need a BIOS update first. Check the board maker's support list before building.
