AMD EPYC 9755 Processor (128 cores, Zen 5)

The AMD EPYC 9755 is the highest core-count processor in the 5th Gen EPYC 9005 series to use full Zen 5 cores, with 128 cores and 256 threads across sixteen compute dies on the SP5 socket. It runs at a 2.7 GHz base with a 4.1 GHz maximum boost that AMD also rates as the all-core boost, and provides 512 MB of L3 cache. The memory controller supports twelve DDR5 channels at 6400 MT/s, and each socket exposes 128 PCIe 5.0 lanes, with a 500 W default TDP configurable between 450 W and 500 W.

EPYC 9755 is ordered by cloud and hosting providers for high-density virtualisation and container hosts, by HPC centres and engineering firms for CFD and FEA, and by system integrators building AI inference and database servers on Supermicro, Gigabyte, ASUS and Dell PowerEdge platforms. AMD sells it as a tray processor only, in 1P and 2P configurations, and existing SP5 boards accept it after a BIOS update to a Turin-compatible AGESA. The 500 W envelope requires high-airflow 2U or liquid-cooled 1U chassis and should be checked against the vendor's thermal matrix.

Sales of the EPYC 9755 to business customers are contracted and invoiced by InTechnologies' licensed partners. InTechnologies sources the processors from authorised AMD distribution, consolidates them in Dubai Airport Freezone and delivers DDP or DDU, and can pair them with SP5 motherboards and DDR5 RDIMMs in one shipment.
