The Instax Mini Evo Cinema, introduced in January 2026, is the first Instax device that shoots video as well as stills. In CINE mode it records clips of up to 15 seconds, which can be printed as a still with a QR code that plays the video when scanned; in STILL mode it works like the Mini Evo, and it also prints from a smartphone. The Eras Dial applies ten looks inspired by decades from the 1930s to the 2020s, each in ten intensity steps, to both footage and audio. Hardware is a 1/5-inch CMOS sensor with about 5 million effective pixels, a 28 mm-equivalent f/2.0 lens, a 1.54-inch LCD, a microSD slot, Bluetooth 5.4 and Wi-Fi, and a built-in battery good for about 100 prints per charge.

Electronics chains, photo specialists and marketplace sellers place it above the Mini Evo as the flagship of the Mini range. It is offered in black and comes with a finder attachment and a grip attachment. The battery charges over USB-C, so there are no regional plug versions to manage; packaging language and warranty paperwork follow the market of origin.

New, sealed units are consolidated in Dubai and dispatched with serial numbers listed per carton, with Instax Mini film added on request.

Questions buyers ask

Is this the same as the Instax Mini Evo?

No. The Mini Evo shoots and prints stills; the Mini Evo Cinema adds short video recording, the Eras Dial and QR-linked video prints. Both use Instax Mini film.

Does it need a memory card?

It has internal memory for about 50 stills and 10 standard clips. The high-quality video mode requires a microSD card, which can be added to the order.
