The second-generation AirTag, released in 2026, keeps the 31.9 mm disc shape and user-replaceable CR2032 battery of the original but uses Apple's second-generation Ultra Wideband chip. Apple quotes up to 1.5 times the Precision Finding range on supported iPhones, and the speaker is 50% louder, which Apple says lets it be heard from up to twice the distance. Precision Finding also works from Apple Watch Series 9 or later and Ultra 2 or later. It is rated IP67, weighs 11.8 g and needs an iPhone or iPad on iOS or iPadOS 26 or later.
AirTag is a steady accessory line for electronics and telecom stores, luggage and travel retailers, and corporate programmes that tag equipment or welcome kits. It comes as a single unit or a 4-pack, and buyers should set the split. Holders and key rings are sold separately, so retailers usually order them alongside. The hardware is the same in all regions.
We ship sealed AirTag packs from Dubai in carton lots, together with other Apple accessories if required.
