Dyson Supersonic Nural Hair Dryer

The Supersonic Nural is the sensor-equipped version of Dyson's hair dryer, introduced in 2024. A time-of-flight sensor measures the distance to the head and, in Scalp Protect mode, lowers the air temperature to about 55 °C as the dryer approaches the scalp, then restores it as it moves away. Magnetic attachments carry an ID that the dryer recognises, restoring the last heat and airflow setting used with each one, and a motion sensor pauses heat and reduces airflow when the dryer is put down. The 1,600 W motor delivers 13.3 litres of air per second through four heat and three speed settings with a cold shot, and the attachments include the styling concentrator, diffuser, gentle air attachment, flyaway attachment and, in some sets, a wide-tooth comb.

Beauty retailers, department stores, marketplace sellers, salon suppliers, hotel and spa groups and corporate gifting programmes buy the Nural, often alongside the Airwrap i.d. in the same colourways such as Vinca Blue/Topaz, Ceramic Pink/Rose Gold and Prussian Blue/Rich Copper. The dryer is mains powered, so the regional version must match the destination: UK and GCC markets use the G-type plug at 220-240 V, the EU uses a European plug at the same voltage, and the 120 V US version cannot be used in those markets.
