The Nintendo Switch Lite, released in 2019, is the handheld-only version of the Switch. The controls are built in and it does not connect to a TV. It has a 5.5-inch 1280 × 720 LCD touchscreen, 32 GB of storage expandable with microSDXC cards up to 2 TB, NFC for amiibo, and about 3 to 7 hours of battery depending on the game. It weighs about 275 g.
Switch Lite is a volume gift and children's console for toy chains, electronics stores and marketplaces. It plays Switch games that support handheld mode. Colours are Blue, Coral, Gray, Yellow and Turquoise, so the colour split drives most orders. The AC adapter plug and voltage rating follow the regional version.
