The Osmo Action 4 is DJI’s 2023 action camera built around a 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor and an f/2.8 lens with a 155° field of view. It records 4K at up to 120 fps and takes 3648×2736 photos, with RockSteady 3.0, RockSteady 3.0+, HorizonBalancing and HorizonSteady stabilisation. It has a 1.4-inch front and a 2.25-inch rear touchscreen, is waterproof to 18 m without a case (60 m with the waterproof case), and the 1770 mAh Extreme Battery runs for up to 160 minutes at 1080p/24 fps. It weighs 145 g.
The Osmo Action 5 Pro and Action 6 now sit above it, and the Action 4 remains a common choice for entry assortments, sports shops and rental fleets. The Adventure Combo adds two more Extreme Batteries and a 1.5 m extension rod to the Standard Combo contents, which is the kit most resellers prefer for outdoor customers. Hardware is the same worldwide; box language and regional warranty handling differ.
