Canon RF 24mm F1.4 L VCM Lens

The RF 24mm F1.4 L VCM is one of Canon's L-series VCM primes aimed at hybrid shooters. Its 15 elements in 11 groups include a glass-moulded aspherical element and two UD elements, with Air Sphere Coating and Subwavelength Structure Coating against flare and a fluorine coating on the front element. A voice coil motor moves the main focus group while a Nano USM drives the floating group, and Canon says focus breathing is suppressed optically. The lens has an 11-blade aperture, an iris ring for video, a customisable lens function button, a control ring and a rear filter holder. It focuses to 0.24 m (0.17x), takes 67 mm filters, weighs about 515 g and measures about 76.5 × 99.3 mm, which Canon notes is smaller and over 20% lighter than the EF 24mm f/1.4L II USM. There is no optical image stabilisation.
